Description
The T-Start 72°C is an autonomous and automatic thermal detection and activation device, that allows for the detection of a fire and the activation of a powder, aerosol or gaseous fire suppression system. The T-Start can be used as a thermal detector with a fixed temperature reading (72ºC).

The T-Start can be partnered with the specially designed ‘Detection Circuit Junction Box’, which provides a signal to a fire panel, and an additional output to shut down electrical equipment, or to activate alarms (depending on modifications).
The T-Start can also be partnered with a specially designed ‘Protective Cup’, which allows the T-Start to operate in more harsh environments (dust, splash, etc.). However, note that the ‘Protective Cup’ will reduce the sensitivity of the heat-sensitive element, and as a result, the activation time increases.

Design
The T-Start device is designed for the autonomous and automatic activation of a fire suppression system. No external power supply is required.

The dimensions of a protected area shall not exceed 18m³:
Height – 3.0 meters

One electric circuit can support 10 T-Start devices, increasing the protected area up to 180m³.
Output

The device generates an electric impulse with the amplitude of 3.5V DC at a circuit resistance
of 1.0 Ohm. The device can activate the following types of electrical initiators: MB-2H, 3A-1, PP-9, YGP-10, and
similar.

Service Life
